Privacy policy

Benefit Day is published by Impeka Insights, Kaithal, Haryana, India. This page explains what information is collected when you use mybenefitday.com, and what isn't. If you have a question, email [email protected].

The short version

• Our calculators and date tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter or choose in them is sent to us or anyone else.
• We never ask for your Social Security number, bank details or benefit records.
• We only have your email address if you sign up for reminders.
• We count visits without cookies. Once ads are shown, Google and its partners may use cookies, and you can control this.

Information you give us

Email reminders. If you sign up, we collect your email address and the payment group you choose (for example, "born on the 11th to 20th"), so we can send reminders on the right day. Sign-ups are handled by our email provider, Kit, which stores this information for us. You'll get a confirmation email first, and every email has a link to unsubscribe. We don't sell or share your email address.

Emails to us. If you email us, we receive your email address and message, and use them only to reply.

Information collected automatically

Visit statistics. We use Plausible Analytics, running on our own server, to count visits and see which pages are useful. Plausible doesn't use cookies and doesn't store IP addresses or build profiles of visitors.

Hosting and security. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.

Your settings. If you press "Larger text", your browser remembers that choice on your own device. We can't see it.

Advertising and cookies

Benefit Day is free because it shows ads from Google AdSense. When ads are shown:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some other vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.

Visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and some US states are shown a consent or privacy message, where you can accept, refuse or change how your information is used for ads. We don't sell your personal information for money.

Links to other websites

We link to official sites such as ssa.gov, va.gov and medicare.gov, and to our WhatsApp channel. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Children

Benefit Day is written for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in each email. To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under your state's or country's privacy laws, and we'll respond to requests as those laws require.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
